Ours is a handy, central base: in half an hour you're in the city or by the sea, in an hour you can reach mountains, parks and some of the most important nuraghi in Sardinia.

Beaches and coves
The nearest southern beaches are just 30–40 minutes away. To the west the Costa Verde offers wild stretches of sand such as Scivu and Piscinas; to the south the crystal‑clear waters of Sulcis and the Gulf of Cagliari. Pale sand, dunes and turquoise sea for every taste.
City
Cagliari, the seaside capital
About twenty minutes away lies Cagliari: the historic Castello district, the Bastione di Saint Remy, the port, the museums and the Poetto seafront. The city is also the main hub for the airport, ferries and connections to the rest of the island.
Nature
Parks, mountains and horses
For nature lovers, the WWF reserve of Monte Arcosu protects one of the last great Mediterranean forests and the Sardinian deer. Further north, the Giara plateau with its wild ponies and the coastal lagoons full of flamingos complete a surprisingly varied landscape.
Archaeology & flavours
Nuraghi and Sardinian taste
South-central Sardinia is an open‑air museum for archaeology too: the famous Su Nuraxi nuraghe of Barumini, a UNESCO site, is about an hour away. And taste guides you everywhere: San Sperate's citrus and peaches, bread, cheeses, wines and the hospitality of the Sardinian table.
